Interview With Adam Roth from N.M. Silber Lawyers in Love Series

Good Morning,

I had the privilege of getting up close and personal with my book boyfriend, Adam Roth. Many of you may have met him in N.M. Silber's, Lawyers in Love series if not then you surely are missing out. We are going to have a little fun and I am also going to give away a signed copy of Legal Briefs and an ecopy of Legally Wed to one lucky comment. Be sure to leave you email address in the with your comment so I can contact you.

ADAM ROTH INTERVIEW

How have married life been treating you? Let me just say reading about your recent nuptials it just broke my heart.

Oh Mayas! I hope you’ll forgive me, sweetheart. You have to understand that I’ve been thinking about Lily since we were four. Let me tell you the story …

There I was, minding my own business, coloring my “autumn fun” handout, and the next thing you know, I was covered in green glitter. Now, that may not sound like much of an offense, but Rob Bergen and Josh Lieberman called me “Leprechaun” for like a month.  I turned around to see who was responsible, and it was her, Lily Adler.  Not only did she not apologize, she had the nerve to laugh. That was it. Game on.

How is married life treating me? It’s treating me very well. Lily keeps me on my toes. She’s a wiseass but so am I.  Our life together is never boring.  We still bicker sometimes, but we’re very happy.

Since I am pretty sure I fell in love with you even MORE after this scene, I have to ask. What were you thinking when playing ‘Say My Name”? You said and I quote. “Okay now concentrate. This is a real person. White suit!” I was lost along with Lily, you had me damn near pissing my pants. You couldn’t think of any other clues?

What do you mean what was I thinking?! I was thinking about Mark Twain, you nutty broad! In pictures he’s always wearing a white suit. You and Mrs. Roth both need to brush up on your Mark Twain facts.  Here you go … http://www.marktwainmuseum.org/index.php/research/frequently-asked-questions

What is the wackiest case you have every dealt with in court?

You’re kidding me, right? What day? There’s no way to narrow down that kind of crazy to one case. One of the most memorable I think, though, was that case that Braden did with that guy dressed like the chicken.  I loved that! It was a classic moment in American jurisprudence.

We all know you had a knack for reading before discovering Lily genre of writing, what was your genre of choice for relaxation?

I like Thrillers, like books by Tom Clancy. I also like Michael Crichton’s stuff. I am a Sherlock Holmes fan as well. I read ALL his books.

I myself enjoy your wit and sense of humor with your friends. Have you ever gotten caught saying a dirty joke while in church, if so what was it?

No, I have not, but probably just because I’m Jewish.

Since I would say your vows made a LOT of women swoon. What advice would you give to those men/women out there still holding in their feelings for the one they truly want to be with?

That’s hard because part of me wants to say don’t waste time, but another part wants to say wait until you’re ready. In some ways, I regret not having told Lily sooner, but in other ways, I know I had a lot of growing up to do and I had to get some stuff out of my system.

For those who have yet to read Legal-i-Tease don’t read this. What was your reaction to the drunken Lily dancing with the entertainment at the ball? From what I read it looked to be pretty HOT.

Lily can get me more worked up than any other woman I’ve ever met.  She drives me out my mind.  Let’s just say I found the sight very stimulating.

Let’s give the readers something they might enjoy. Quick fire questions.
